These are the tools we use to create the podcast

Microphones

John, in the studio, uses the Electro-Voice RE-320 mounted on the Samson MBA and the Audio Technica AT-2005 or the Samsung Q2u in the field or for guests. Derek Uses the Audio Technica ATR-2000 (replaced by the ATR2100-USB) for all recordings.

                    

Mixers/Recorders

John uses the Zoom Podtrac P8 in the studio and the Zoom Podtrac P4 in the field. He also has a collection of recorders for field use the Zoom H4n and H1n. John also uses the Sony for notes while driving.

                 

Headphones

John and Derek wear the Audio Technica Mx-40 or the MEE audio M6 Sport monitors.
